Big ticket agricultural items sold in February 2021

Ritchie Bros. farm equipment auction results from last month.

1. 2015 JOHN DEERE 8370RT Track Tractor – $137,500

While February is dominated by Orlando’s big auction event, with thousands of construction and transportation items selling to buyers across the world, our first big farming equipment auction starts in Tipton, California. That’s where this 2015 John Deere 8370RT track tractor (lot 53) sold for $137,500.

2. 2013 JOHN DEERE 9410R 4WD Tractor – $137,500

We have a tie for second – this 2013 John Deere 9410R 4WD tractor (lot 62) sold for an identical $137,500 at the same Tipton auction.

3. 2012 JOHN DEERE 9560R 4WD Tractor – $135,000

Only one lot earlier at Tipton, this 2012 John Deere 9560R (lot 61) sold for slightly less at $135,000.

4. 2014 COE C7E Self-Propelled Nut Shaker – $132,500

California is famous for its nut farming industry, so it’s no surprise to see this self-propelled nut shaker (lot 225) on the list. It probably wouldn’t sell too easily in other states and provinces. And yes, it also sold in Tipton last month for $132,500.

5. 2012 CASE IH STEIGER 450 4WD Tractor – CA$157,500

Here’s one that didn’t come from Tipton. This 2012 CASE IH STEIGER 450 4WD Tractor (lot 429) sold at our big Edmonton auction last month for CA$157,500, which is about US$125,000.
